I'm Scott, a landscape photographer based in Vancouver, Washington. I've been shooting in the Pacific Northwest for well over 20 years, chasing soft light, quiet places, and the mood that lives somewhere between weather and stillness.
I got my start shooting film and hiking the Cascades off the beaten path. Not much has changed. I'm still drawn to the same things: fog over trees, mist in the air, the way light shifts when nobody's watching.
Most of my work focuses on minimalist, moody landscapes from the Cascades to the coastal cliffs. I'm not always looking for dramatic skies or postcard views. I look for moments that feel honest, when the light is soft, the air is still, and the landscape holds its breath.
